President

Lori Stroh began her career at MVC Consulting in 1985 as a Computer Based Training course editor. After time spent in recruiting and business development, Lori was promoted to Senior Vice President and COO in 1996, overseeing the day-to-day business activities of MVC. When co-founders Don Cran and Don Mau left the company in 1999, Lori moved into her current role of President and Owner.

She is active in community organizations such as the Women’s Business Enterprise and in her spare time enjoys dance, Jazzercise, traveling, and skiing.

Mark Stroh

Chief Operating Officer

Mark Stroh is the COO of MVC Consulting. Mark has more than 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, operations, financial management, and management team development. Prior to joining MVC, Mark built and helped to expand several companies using a creative and innovative approach to solve business problems that led to triple digit sales growth His efforts yielded successful outcomes in developing people, focusing teams, and mitigating risk. Mark has applied his approach to the hardware and automotive industry, process manufacturing, and computer software industries. In his approach to business,

Mark combines hands on experience, time-acquired wisdom and a respectful entrepreneurial approach that adds value to MVC‘s clients and employees. Over the last 10 years he has been able to build, develop, support and direct high performance teams that consistently deliver complex solutions for Clients, MVC staff, and MVC itself. Mark’s personal philosophy is that he has an obligation to steward MVC while serving others. He is committed to maintain and expand the high ethical standards that are core to his values.

Peter Brooks

Peter Brooks

Managing Principal

Peter Brooks has over 30 years of extensive experience in corporate strategy, sales and technology. Peter spent many years at CA Technologies (formerly Computer Associates) as World-wide Vice President of Sales Strategy for CA Technologies and as Vice President for Consulting Services for the Midwest and Canada. Peter was also the Managing Director and one of the founders of The Consultants Source, providing Infrastructure Assessment services to the mid-market.

Peter has been in management and consulting for over thirty years working for companies such as TRW, the American Bar Association, CompuServe and Digital Equipment Corporation. Peter served as the CIO for HQ, Inc. (later, HQ Global Workplaces) and subsequently was one of the founders and President of Labrynth Technologies, a Chicago based networks and telecommunications firm where he also created the KeepTrack™ Library Management System sold commercially throughout the U.S. He was a partner with Metamor Technologies (later renamed Xpedior, Inc.) where he created and headed up the Healthcare industries practice. From Xpedior, he became Vice President of Consulting Services for Syclo Corporation, leading a group that created customized wireless applications. He then spent some time as Director of Midwest Sales for a subsidiary of Deloitte Consulting, specializing in CRM solutions for the Fortune 500.

Tony McClain

Tony McClain

Senior Client Partner

Tony McClain brings over 30 years of professional management experience to his role as a Senior Client Partner for MVC. Tony serves MVC clients by using practical and effective methods to deliver solutions that solve business challenges.

Tony has served successfully in various Consulting Leadership roles in other organizations prior to his affiliation with MVC including Executive Partner, Head of Delivery, and Principal Consultant. He came up in the ranks of the IT Profession starting as Software Developer, advancing to Business Analyst, later transitioning to Project Manager, and now pursues his role as Program and Engagement Manager delivering Enterprise Software and Services. Tony started his beginning as a Software Engineer Trainee at Dominick’s in the early 90’s. In addition to many years of Management in the Retail Food Management Industry, Tony has vertical industry experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, and Entertainment and Media.

Dayton Kishimoto

Dayton Kishimoto

Client Principal

Dayton Kishimoto has over 30 years experience in technology, from project development to managing teams and budgets. Dayton Started with MVC as one of their first consultants in 1982, developing programs and systems for many large corporations including Harris Bank, GE Medical, Baxter and G D Searle, working long term for many clients.

Dayton has held the Associate Director position at G D Searle, gaining experience in managing teams and Project Management. When Searle was acquired, Dayton moved on to Household International as a Senior Manager, requiring him to run many projects in the mortgage service division and manage large teams including on-shore and off-shore consultants. At MVC, Dayton leverages his experience gained working in consulting and in corporate roles within large organizations hiring consultants and working at diverse firms. Dayton brings a knowledge of what it takes to build a good team and motivate employees and consultants to deliver in any environment to MVC.

Greg Mummert

Greg Mummert

Director of Talent Acquisition

Greg Mummert has over 17 years of experience recruiting high talent IT Professionals in the Chicagoland area. He is responsible for the overall recruiting strategy and day-to-day operations of the the recruiting department including compliance and on-boarding new employees. Greg is also heavily involved in the daily operations of MVC including staffing and Human Resources.

Greg also spent over six years at Inforte Corporation where he led the North American Recruiting team and worked closely with the Corporate leadership team on overall Recruiting Strategy. He started his career in Executive Search where he served a variety of Fortune 1000 clients in the Manufacturing, High Tech, Retail, and Financial Services.
